The Benefits of Membership There
are many benefits to joining an astronomy club, not least because you get to meet
may others who have the same interest as you in astronomy. The club is open to
'newbies' as well as experienced amateurs and even professionals, and an interest
in the hobby ranges from the occasional viewings with binoculars in the back garden

In order to take advantage of the benefits of membership please print off the (PDF) form, complete it, and bring it with you to the next meeting of Swindon Stargazers or, alternatively (especially when the club is not physically meeting), complete the (Word) form and send it by email to our our membership secretary Malcolm Woods. He will then advise on a payment method. |

- THE PLEIADES The Pleiades is one of the most beautiful star clusters in the sky, sometimes called the Seven Sisters, it looks even more amazing with a small telescope or binoculars. The Pleiades is easily observed from the Swindon area, even with the naked eye. |
